2020 plenary session of the Shandong Lawyers Association and the Jinan Lawyers Association

On the morning of November 27, 2020, the 2020 plenary session of the Shandong Lawyers Association and the Jinan Lawyers Association Foreign Dispute Resolution Professional Committee was held at Jinan Wenbo Garden. All members of the Professional Committee for Foreign Dispute Resolution of the Provincial and Municipal Law Associations attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the committee summarized the work for 2020 and discussed the work plan for 2021. In the context of the COVID-19 in 2020, the Commission has provided public welfare support in terms of production resumption and enterprise legal services, and achieved good results. In 2021, the focus of the committee’s work will be on improving the professional ability of foreign-related lawyers, and plans to jointly plan and hold relevant training activities with the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association.
The attending members expressed their opinions and freely expressed their opinions and suggestions on international commercial mediation, business expansion, and improvement of business capabilities.
After the meeting, the committee members, along with members of the Foreign Dispute Resolution Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association and the International Commercial Committee of the Municipal Lawyers Association, listened to a special training session on “Development and Practice of International Commercial Regulation” by Wang Fang, Deputy Secretary General of the Mediation Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Associate Professor Zhang Wanchun, an international commercial mediator.
The training is conducted in the form of offline meetings and online live broadcasts, attracting multiple foreign-related lawyers and individuals from enterprises and institutions to participate. The training content is practical and has received enthusiastic responses, playing a positive role in enhancing the understanding and understanding of international commercial mediation among foreign lawyers.
