Excellent case for recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitration award

Our American client (hereinafter referred to as applicant in this case) and China Equipment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as respondent in the case) signed the purchase contract in 2022. According to the contract, respondent shall deliver goods to applicant in one month, but failed to perform it. According to the settlement article, the foreign arbitration tribunal made arbitration award: respondent shall pay all claim amount to applicant, and compensate of arbitration fee. The above arbitration award had come into force. Respondent had disappeared and failed to fulfill the obligations. On half of applicant, we applied to Intermediate People’s Court for recognition and enforcement of the arbitration award. During court hearings, both parties reached mediation agreement. Client was very satisfied with the result. And this case was adopted as excellent case in court.
