Global Business and Rule of Law Forum 2025 Kicks Off in Qingdao
QINGDAO, China, Nov. 5, 2025 – The Global Business and Rule of Law Forum 2025 convened today in Qingdao, drawing together global leaders from the business and legal communities. Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the forum operates under the theme “Strengthening International Cooperation on Rule of Law to Foster Inclusive Economic Development.”
In his opening address, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, highlighted the forum’s critical role in the current global landscape. He noted that the blueprint outlined by China’s Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, which emphasizes advancing socialist democratic and legal systems, has provided strong impetus for China to accelerate the development of its foreign-related legal regime and enhance its efficacy.
