Improving judicial mechanisms to support opening-up

China’s courts are required to launch intelligent courts, optimize judicial policies and deepen judicial reform to better serve the people and opening-up strategy, Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People’s Court, stressed at a Leading Party Members’ Group meeting on Nov 9.
At the meeting, a work report on this year’s case enforcement and new requirements for judicial work in the new year was delivered.

According to the statistics collected by the Big Data Management and Service Platform and the Enforcement Management Platform, an increased number of cases were accepted and concluded by courts at various levels in China from January to September this year.
The rate of case conclusion has risen and the trial period has shortened.
