Partner Kevin Liu attended the ninth international business and Investment Committee

On May 29, 2021, “the first committee of the ninth international business and Investment Committee of Qingdao Lawyers Association in 2021” was successfully held.

At the beginning of the meeting, the selection results of the committee’s excellent papers and cases were announced. Two first prize papers, three second prize papers and five third prize papers were selected, and honorary certificates were awarded to the winners of excellent papers and cases. Subsequently, five outstanding members of the Committee in 2020 were commended.

After the commendation, the Committee sorted out the work carried out this year and made arrangements for the follow-up work. In the first half of 2021, the Committee held an online lecture on “interpretation and application prospect of RCEP rules from the perspective of expanding openness”, an online seminar on legal issues of cross border guarantee and debt restructuring. In the future, the committee will carry out more activities in combination with the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone, RCEP and foreign legal service practice.

The meeting also organized the members of the committee to learn the keynote speech of the director of the Ministry of foreign affairs and law, Jia Guide, attending the seminar on “Xi Jinping’s rule of law and international law” and the 2021 Annual Academic Conference of China International Law Society in Haikou.
