Qingdao International Arbitration Center is established in Qingdao free trade zone

One belt, one road to the city’s free trade pilot area, is to establish Qingdao International Arbitration Center. It is great significance for serving international trade and economic and upgrading Qingdao’s core competitiveness. It is also a useful exploration for building an international metropolis, building a new platform for “one belt and one road” international cooperation, and creating a market oriented, rule of law and internationalized business environment. Relying on advantages of Qingdao free trade area, Qingdao International Arbitration Center will introduce rich domestic and international arbitration resources, international arbitration experience, and the theory and practice of arbitration rules in line with international standards, so as to build a “one-stop” new international commercial dispute resolution platform integrating legal service resources such as arbitration, lawyers, notarization and commercial mediation in Qingdao free trade area, provide professional and international arbitration legal services for Chinese and foreign parties, and make positive contributions to serving the country’s opening-up and development strategy. Representatives from relevant legal service institutions, advanced manufacturing, international trade, shipping logistics, modern finance and other industrial enterprises and business associations attended the ceremony.
