Top court intensifies judge supervision

The Supreme People’s Court (SPC) has issued tentative provisions for the administration of judge delisting for disciplinary and law violations. The issuance of the provisions is a key measure in deepening the comprehensive reform of the judicial system and promoting rectification of court personnel.

It is of great significance for improving the punitive system for judges, constructing a clean and honest administration in the court system, and building a loyal and honest team of judges in the new era.

Maintaining the authority and integrity of judicial trials as the mainstay, the provisions integrate judicial system reform with the efforts for improving Party conduct and upholding integrity and establish a coordinating system aligning judges’ violations of discipline and law with their personnel quota revocation.
